Facilitating PPIE Sessions and Supporting Participants
Eligibility Criteria
This programme is open to people and organisations based in the North East and North Cumbria, as well as those from the following organisations:
- NIHR Biomedical Research Centre (BRC)
- NIHR Applied Research Collaboration (ARC)
- NIHR Innovation Observatory (IO)
- NIHR Research Support Service (RSS)
- NIHR Policy Research Unit (PRU)
- NIHR Research Delivery Network (RDN)
- NIHR HRC in Diagnostic and Technology Evaluation (HRC)
Course Information
This will explore facilitating group discussion sessions with public contributors, how best to support their involvement and to consider some of the barriers. Delivered online by an experienced PPI Lead and public involvement co-ordinator, this session will involve a combination of presentation and discussion to consider the different needs of public contributors and how to effectively plan and facilitate PPIE sessions.Book this course
