UWLP Spanish Language Taster Sessions

Course Information

The course will explore the following 5 topic areas, over the duration of the 5 week course:

Introduction to Spanish:

An introduction to Spain, the Spanish speaking world and basic greetings and pronunciation.

Self-Introduction:

How to introduce yourself in Spanish and engage in conversation about your family, friends, and life.

Expressing Numbers:

Basic skills in counting, asking for the time and stating your birthday and age.

Location & Objects:

How to use personal pronouns, regular verbs and how to conjugate them, as well as expressing the location of people and possession of objects.

Food:

How to order food in Spanish and express what you like and dislike eating.
