What is the Voluntary Community and Sector Enterprise?

Course Information

The voluntary, community and social enterprise (or VCSE) sector plays a key role in supporting communities and delivering health and care services and support. This session aims to provide research, health and other potential partners with an overview of what the VCSE sector is and the types of organisations within it, ways to connect with the sector, and awareness of the current VCSE landscape locally and nationally, including how the sector is organised, governed and funded. The session will also cover some key guidance and publications to guide partnership working with VCSE organisations and provide space for learners to reflect on opportunities to connect and work with VCSE partners going forwards.
