Road Safety Policy :

This is the first of three modules which take up the Road Safety CPD course. This module includes: an overview of the road collision problem in the UK and how it compares internationally information on how road safety is part of transport policy methods for managing safety processes, management, and research an introduction to recent road safety developments.

Collision Prevention and Reduction :

This is the second of three modules which take up the Road Safety CPD course. This module will cover:

How road collisions are recorded

How collision data is used, stored, and interpreted

Selecting and prioritising locations to investigate

Defining the road collision problem

Road safety schemes

Options for treating collision problems

Estimating savings and economic benefits
