UWLP Japanese Language Taster Sessions

Course Information

The course will explore the following 5 topic areas, over the duration of the 5 week course:

Introduction to Japan:

An introduction to Japan, basic Japanese greetings and pronunciation.

Basic Knowledge:

Basic skills in counting, asking for the time and stating your birthday and age, as well as recognising Japanese characters.

Self-Introduction:

How to introduce yourself in Japanese and engage in conversation about your life and what languages you can speak.

Family:

How to engage in conversation about your family and describe family members.

Food:

How to order food in Japanese and express what you like and dislike eating.
