Chinese Proficiency (HSK) Course 5A
Who is the HSK5A course suitable for?
The HSK5A course is tailored for individuals who have already completed our HSK4C course or have a minimum of 200 hours of Chinese learning experience. After finishing this course, your Chinese vocabulary will be approximately 1415 words.
What textbook is used in this course?
The textbook used in this course is "HSK Standard Course 5" and over the ten-week program, we will cover the content of Lessons 1 to 6.
What will you gain from the HSK5A course?
Communication skills
By the end of the course, you will have honed your ability to engage in more complex conversations and discussions on topics such as love between married couples, relationship between parents and children, life choices and changes, festival custom, etc.
Language knowledge
Through the comprehensive coverage of the first two units, you will significantly enhance your grasp of Chinese grammar, syntax, nuances between similar words and idiomatic expressions, enabling you to produce more advanced written texts using the vocabulary and grammar involved in the course
Culture experience
You will explore cultural nuances embedded in the language, such as different love languages, Chinese filial piety and fraternal duty, origin of Chinese New Year’s Eve and Chinese New Year custom, etc.
